Why some sources number this card differently
The older Marseille order numbers Strength as 11 and Justice as 8. Rider–Waite swapped them in 1909, so Justice became 11.

If another calculator called your 11 Justice, it made no arithmetic error — the number is identical, and it is reading the label from a tarot deck rather than the matrix sources. What arcana 11 means
The card shows a woman holding open a lion’s jaws. She is not fighting it and she is not fleeing. She is simply holding, calmly, and the lion is not being hurt.
That image is the whole number. Arcana 11 is force that does not need to announce itself — the strength of not reacting, of staying with something long enough for it to settle. Where arcana 7 drives two opposing forces, arcana 11 quiets one.
It is also about appetite. The lion is not an enemy; it is something of your own — anger, hunger, need — being held rather than suppressed or obeyed. Arcana 11 is the arcana of that middle position.
