Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains what happens to your information on destinymatrixchart.com. It is short because there is not much to explain.

The short version

Nothing you enter is stored. Your name and date of birth are used to build your chart, and they are gone the moment you close the tab. There are no accounts on this site, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing held against your name.

The site is free and supported by advertising. Advertising and analytics involve third parties who set their own cookies, and you choose whether to allow those through the cookie banner shown on your first visit.

1. Who is responsible

This site is operated by Jo Rose from the United Kingdom. Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 that makes me the data controller for information collected here.

For any data question: [email protected] or through the Contact page.

2. Your name and date of birth

The calculator needs a name and a date of birth to build your chart. Under UK GDPR a date of birth is personal data, so what happens to it matters.

It is used to calculate your chart and nothing else. It is not written to a database. It is not kept after your visit ends. It is not sent to any third party, advertiser or analytics service.

There is no account to attach it to, because this site does not have accounts. Nothing is saved for later — if you want the same chart again, you enter the date again.

3. There are no accounts

This site has no registration, no login and no user accounts. You cannot create a profile, and there is no saved-chart feature.

Every chart is generated fresh, read on the page, and forgotten when you leave.

4. What is collected

When you contact us. Only what you choose to send: your name, email address and message. Kept as long as needed to answer you and deal with any follow-up, then deleted.

Server logs. Like almost every website, the hosting server records standard technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system, pages requested and timestamps. Used for security and diagnosing faults, nothing else. These logs are not linked to anything you type into the calculator.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how pages perform — which pages are read, how long people stay, which devices they use. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes this data on our behalf. It does not receive anything you type into the calculator.

We also use Google Search Console, which shows us how the site appears in Google search results. It works from Google’s own search data and does not place cookies on your device.

What is never collected. No payment details — there is nothing to pay for. No financial data. No special category data such as health, religion or ethnicity. No account data, because there are no accounts.

5. Why we are allowed to process it

UK GDPR requires a lawful basis for every kind of processing. Ours are:

WhatLawful basis
Calculating your chartLegitimate interests — you asked for a chart; the date is used for that and discarded
Answering your messageLegitimate interests — you contacted us and expect a reply
Server logs and securityLegitimate interests — keeping the site working and secure
Advertising and analytics cookiesConsent — you can give or withhold it, and change your mind at any time

6. Advertising

This site is supported by advertising. That is what keeps every chart and every reading free, with no paid tier and no locked sections.

Advertising partners set their own cookies or similar technologies to measure performance and, where you have consented, to personalise what you are shown. They act as independent data controllers for what they collect, and their own privacy policies apply.

They do not receive the name or date of birth you enter into the calculator. That data never leaves this site.

You can change or withdraw your advertising consent at any time through the cookie settings on this site.

7. Cookies and your choices

Cookies are small files your browser stores. A cookie banner appears on your first visit, and no advertising or analytics cookies are set until you make a choice.

Lawful basis
Keep the site working — session handling, and remembering your cookie choice
Google Analytics — how pages perform, which are read, which devices are used
Set by advertising partners to measure and, with consent, personalise ads
Consent — you can give or withhold it, and change your mind at any time

Refusing analytics and advertising cookies will not stop you generating a chart or reading any section of it. Everything on this site works either way.

You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link on this site, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Most browsers also let you block cookies entirely.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — ask for a copy of the personal data held about you
  • Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected
  • Erasure — have your data deleted
  • Restriction — limit how your data is used
  • Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, for cookies or anything else relying on consent

In practice there is very little to exercise these rights against. Unless you have emailed us, the only record of your visit is a standard server log entry and whatever analytics cookies you allowed.

To make a request, email [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL]. We respond within one month, as the law requires. There is no charge.

If you are not satisfied with how a request was handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk

9. Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13, the UK age of digital consent.

The child matrix chart is designed to be used by a parent or guardian about their child, not by the child. As with every other chart, the date entered is used to calculate the result and is not stored.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and it will be deleted.

10. Visitors outside the UK

The site is used in more than 200 countries. If you visit from outside the United Kingdom, your data may be processed in the UK and in any country where a hosting, analytics or advertising partner operates. Google processes analytics data on servers in several countries, under the safeguards set out in its own privacy policy.

11. Links to other sites

This site links to external pages, and advertising links to third parties. Once you leave destinymatrixchart.com, those sites’ own privacy policies apply. We do not control them and are not responsible for their practices.

12. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will change with it. Where a change affects how personal data is used, we will make that visible on the site rather than relying on you to check.
